We are ultimately at the mercy of the weather- if our fields get soggy enough, the Rec. Department will send out notification to us that we are to cancel practice.
If we do not get cancelled by the Rec. Department and it’s warm and rainy, we will most likely NOT cancel. If it’s cold and rainy, we will most likely cancel, and if there is lightning or thunder, we will 100% cancel.
If we are in the middle of practice and hear thunder or see lightning, we will stop immediately and call parents for pickup.
If the wind forecast for practice time is at or above 15MPH, we will likely cancel intramural ultimate. Travel team practices will still be held on windy days.
We’ll also cancel should a blizzard, tornado, hurricane, or tsunami hit.
